Perinatal Pelvic Floor Therapy

GOAL – Perinatal care to thrive in pregnancy, optimize birth outcomes, and postpartum readiness. Starting at 2nd trimester, Birthers receive access to onsite prenatal yoga class and pelvic floor therapy to address potential stop-lights and/or pain hindering movement. Guided Fitness Routine, Pelvic Floor Push-Prep Training, Comfort Measures, and Partner Training. Includes exclusive access to 4th trimester postpartum digital support.

Birth Push-Prep Partner Training

GOAL – Pelvic floor sparing push techniques & Partner training. As Spinning Babies enthusiasts, principles of birth preparation are taught. Given your unique needs and history, a 90 minute class for screening, instruction in optimal birth position options, pelvic preparation, psyche readiness, and comfort measures are included. Class is hands-on and offers partner instruction.

*We offer group birth prep classes to the community on a quarterly basis.

Postpartum Holistic Bodywork

GOAL – Pelvic TLC & Alignment – mobile home session at select locations. Did you know the pelvic bones influence muscles? The first step to healing is “reset of the pelvic bones” birth position. We offer a unique protocol of assessing & treating external pelvis, spine, ribcage, and fascial mobility which have a direct impact on the pelvic and core muscles. Instruction of movement and posture strategies and gentle breathwork exercises will foster blood flow and muscle activation to healing tissues.

Postpartum Core & Pelvic Therapy

GOAL – Prevention & foundation. Therapist will come alongside you (as early as week 3) and ensure you’re healing well with early core foundation and manual therapy to “reset the pelvic bone birth position”. Our methods help you feel better, function & move well for long term womb care. Sessions target reduction of diastasis recti, pain resolution, and foundational guidance of return to intimacy and fitness. Hybrid telehealth and clinic services available for syour convenience.

Pregnancy Yoga Class

Join the Oasis community and receive personalized pregnancy yoga with other birthers. In the collaborative care of a Prenatal Yoga Instructor and Pelvic Floor Therapist, you will receive a pelvic health screen and individualized yoga support. Be educated and empowered to have the birth you desire!

Ideally, second trimester. Body changes typically occur around weeks 18 to 20, making it a great time to identify early potential labor “stop lights” or pelvic imbalances. Come sooner if symptoms such as pelvic pain, leaking, constipation, or prior birth trauma are present. As healthcare professionals, we are equipped to support your unique medical issues and honor precautions to keep you and your baby safe. Patients have found great benefit!

We work in collaboration with Birth Doulas all the time! Research shows pelvic floor therapy helps reduce second stage of labor and the severity of perineal lacerations. As Pelvic Floor Therapists, we have the unique skill set to assess the pelvic floor muscle tone, strength, relaxation and coordination needed for pregnancy and birth. Like any other activity, learn to push with strategy and power while relaxing and lengthening muscles before labor.

As early as needed to address concerns and when you are ready! We often begin ~ 3-4 weeks after birth, providing pelvic bone reset, bodywork to reduce Diastasis Recti, and begin foundational core-pelvic floor rehab with safe functional movements preventing common postpartum leaks, aches and pains.

Yes. C-section delivery still affects abdominal muscles, breathing mechanics, scar mobility, posture, and pelvic floor function.

Recovery timelines vary and should be tailored to symptoms, delivery type, healing, and goals.
*NOTE – Current research advises waiting until postpartum week 12 to begin running, assuming you have begun foundational core-hip-pelvis re-training.
