Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class

Provided by Jen Wood, RN-BSN, CD (DONA), CBE, RMP

In this 3-hour class, explore how your body and your baby work together for a smoother, more comfortable birth. This class offers a holistic approach to childbirth, emphasizing techniques that balance your body to support less discomfort in pregnancy, a faster labor and shorter pushing time. Labor isn’t just about the pelvis…it’s about the whole body working in harmony. During labor, your baby makes its way through three levels of the pelvis, and you’ll learn practical tools to be able to ask “where is baby” and how to “make room for baby” by aligning, relaxing, and balancing your body. Together with your birth partner, you’ll gain confidence in supporting your baby’s journey before and during labor. Jen Wood, RN-BSN, CD(DONA), CBE, RMP, your guide, brings a wealth of experience as a student midwife, labor and delivery nurse, birth doula, massage therapist, childbirth educator, & provider of Traditional Malay 40-day postpartum care.
